Innovative thinker- Fred Eglsaer (my father), who was the owner of Kert Landscape Ltd (since 1962) which did snow clearing, was always looking for an edge. At the time pickup trucks and tractors where mounted with plows, to clear the snow. 1968 Fred pre-ordered the new 1969 Black Chevy Blazer K5 and had it fitted with a plow, he loved the idea of the short wheel base to get into tight parking lots and being able to use it as a personal vehicles as well. In 1969 Kert Landscape Ltd was the first company to use Chevy/GMC Blazer/Jimmy as a main stream work truck for snow clearing.
And that is Montreal History moment.
